چکیده
Collision tumor represents the proximal coexistence of two histologically distinct tumors. The combination different types tumors in a single thyroid gland is extremely unusual. We reported case follicular carcinoma and papillary microcarcinoma occur independently as primary separated by normal tissue 59- year- old Saudi female, presented at clinic with goiter for months duration without symptoms hormonal disorders. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first documentation of a collision tumor with a papillary carcinoma and a squamous carcinoma within the thyroid gland. The clinicopathological features and immunohistochemical profile...

The increasing detection of papillary thyroid microcarcinoma (PTMC) has created management dilemmas. To clarify the clinical significance of postsurgery stimulated thyroglobulin (ps-Tg) in PTMC who undergo thyroidectomy and radioactive iodine (RAI), we retrospectively reviewed the 358 PTMC patients who were treated with RAI and followed up in our hospital. Those with an excessive anti-Tg antibo...

However, some reported that PTMs may have aggressive behavior, can cause regional, or even distant metastases. But till now, the characteristics of PTMs were only reviewed and described by...
